Out of curiosity what don't you find comfy enough about the sports? They are some of the most comfortable seats for my 6'8" frame throughout the model years e30 all the way through f code chassis. |
It's not so much that they are uncomfortable per say, but rather just not as comfortable as the S5's. I do still believe the sport seats in both the e30 and the X5 are very nice, and I had no problem with them up until now. You are taller than I, with me being 6'3 ~200lbs. The bigger seats just cradle me better. No part of me sticks out past the seat, whether it be head or shoulders, where as they kind of do in the sport seats. You just feel like you are being swaddled in rich napa leather like a little baby. It's like a cocoon. They are just so much bigger and sportive than the sport seats that you feel underwhelmed.
