I just completed this retrofit and it works great - a HUGE thanks to Mundo74 for doing the legwork on connectors, pins and wiring - I would have never attempted this without your information and guidance.

I created a quick video of the process - it's fairly complete, thought I would post it there.

FYI, I have a spare heated sport wheel for sale that fits X5/X6 with paddle shifters - PM me for a great deal.
