Got my skid plate today.
I was expecting a flimsy fiberglass shell.
WOW, this item is sturdy!
Most impressive item, gives a new meaning to "Made in America"

I have a few questions about this plate.

1) do you fit it before painting?
2) if I need to smooth the edges, what do I use? Sandpaper, file, dremel?
3) any special prep or primer required?
4) has anyone tried painting the push pins?
