Toyo Proxes STII is NOT a winter tire, it's All Seasons (or some would call it NO Season

). Tire choices are all a compromise. As the X5 is not my "performance vehicle", my tire choice will reflect that. Although, I do live in a 2-season Southern California, I do make an occasional jaunt up the mountains for some snowboarding fun...so an All-Season tire is more practical for me. Most of the time, the roads are cleared, but don't want to get caught with summer tires in the near freezing temperatures - tried it once and it wasn't a very pleasant experience

Thank you for the feedback. Glad to hear that these are quiet

Made in USA tire as well if that makes a difference to you

Thank you - All these positive comments are music to my ears. Sounds like I've found my next set of tire. Made in the USA is a plus
