They will be perfectly fine for your CA. Handles great in the snow, ice, and rain (not track car great but pretty good for an SAV). Ive driven through ice storms and a few winter vortex in the midwest. I have had them for several seasons on my 04 3.0 with style 87s. I think around 20k miles the inside of the rear tire wears out because of the way the x5 is cambered. I've switched to the newer toyos just to try them out. Otherwise I wouldn't mind sticking to the stii.
