Well, that answers the 3.0 petrol question! Great find. My 3.0d diesel was higher kms (170k) but a local car all it's life, sold and serviced by the local BMW dealer and like brand new. A VERY lucky find! As is this forum... I changed a CV boot after reading about 30 pages of discussion. I learnt what DIDN'T work when doing a DIY CV boot and then had no issues doing mine. Priceless (well, actually $350 at the dealer but you get the idea!).
