This is the information that we need to determine how they will fit and what you would need to do to make them fit an e53:
Wheel Specifications Model - TSW Tanaka
Size - Front: 20 x 9.0 / Rear: 20 x 10.5
Bolt Pattern - 5 x 120
Offset - Front: +35mm / Rear: +40mm
Hub-bore to fit - 74.1mm (Bore may be larger - may require hub-rings* )
The e53 X5 has a 72.56mm wheel hub...so that means these wheels have a larger 74.1mm wheel hub so that they can be mounted on the e70 X5.
The wheel offset range is basically the same for the e53 & e70...so that is not an issue unless you want to push the wheels further out toward the hubs than what the normal 20" wheels do. for that you'd need wheel spacers.
As far as 20" tire sizes for staggered 20" wheels...look at the tire inflation sticker on your driver's door or the owners manual...BMW gives the recommended tire sizes for 20". You give
