Clockwork is on a distinguished road
OK, so I used the SSS Progman software and update the Tranny Software and DSC (ASC is on pre-facelifted X's) and I got the EGS reloaded with software again but at the end, it said failed to clear fault memories and failed another operation but successfully installed 7564917 again (was already my programmed number). It failed cause i didnt turn ignition back on after the 10 second break. When the software says "checking vehicle voltage..." after the 10 sec break you need to put key back to ignition 2 setting so software can then reset the fault memory and adjust ckm setting. I loaded the tranny software a second time and by putting key back to ignition 2 again, the software installed perfectly that time.
My experience is a bit different from Doru's from the fact that I did not have an option for selecting GKE, but as the SIB instructions show, I had only the EGS module on the right hand side of SSS Progman to select. So I selected update Software. I was never asked for a Program Number or a Basic Number so I'm not sure what the EGS Programmed number and EGS Basic number are used for.
SSS Progman TOLD me I had currently loaded the 7564917 and could reload it with same. So I did.
As for DSC update, yeah that software had an update for it and its now updated. After that update SSS Profman said i now needed to calibbrate the Steering Angle sensor so i went ahead and did that too.
Not sure where you select GKE module from to be honest, unless you select the MANUAL update button??
