I had my X lowered by 19 mm's front and back, and the ride was harsher but still manageable. What was worse was the bounce from the lack of suspension travel. I then raised it by 9 mm's and the ride is almost factory but still looks lowered, best of both worlds.

Jmainie, regarding your last post, there is a member on here who switched to coilovers on his IS and I remember him saying the increase in ride quality was night and day better over the factory airbags, but I can't remember the brand name of the coilovers.
