Do not use this clamp. You need one that will crush the top into the clamp, creating a proper flattens to it, so that it doesn't snag or catch shit, oh and doesn't open back up. You aren't dealing with a stationary hose clamp here, these are moving, steering connected parts. Different application and execution. Get the Lisle from my link above. Guaranteed it works, it did for me.
