@14thbmw - I keep an eye on the alternator using the OBC, but I haven't checked it while the seats are on, I'll try that on the way home and on the way to work tomorrow.

@CapeX5 - While I'm quite comfortable doing most mechanical things, electrical I tend to stay away from. I can use a voltmeter and check, but I have no idea where to even start testing...can you point me in a direction?
