No, the connector wasn't there. I used the original connector by noting the position and colours of the wires and pins, then released them from the connector. I found the relevant wires on another connector at the rear, released the pins from that connector, and clicked them into place to mirror the wiring as it was at the dash. I plugged it in and it works fine. The spacing of the rear left mounting frame was close to perfect, the MID just slides in and with a bit of force at the end, clicks in. I did remove the original knob, as the hatch cover just brushes the front of the unit when it situ. The MID has all functionality, (clock, timers, fuel mileage etc) which would be lost if the MID is not re-installed somewhere. The head unit advertisements fail to warn customers of such.
