Gotcha. Have yours gone already? If not are there upgraded part numbers that can be installed so that this is not a problem in the future? I might be interested in installing the upgraded components just so I wouldn't have to worry about something like that happening.
Can you like to an e53 that has had this happen?
As I said, I've never heard of that in an e53... anyone here ever have that happen? Maybe it's just an e70 thing for some reason? I realize the parts are the same, but maybe it has something to do with mounting or???
I'm not standing up for BMW here... I just want to know if this is something I should think about or not.
