plastidip is 1 type of coating, and yes it has a balloon type feel.
haloefx (which my x5 is in the military green and matte black) is another type of liquid wrap sprayable coating, and that has more of a smooth feel.
technique is totally different from painting.
different tip size if you already have a gun, different viscosity etc.
