I did this job about 1 1/2 year ago 1st thing first you need to buy or borough the special tool align the cam sprocket they are needed when putting it back together
Also the nuts under the header are a pain in the ass to get to and also the 2 little screws that go inside the cam sprocket I can remember the exact name but the have to do with the vanos the unscrew clock wise I broke the head of mine thinking they were like a normal screw counter clockwise very in portan fir them 2 little screws
Yes the headgasket comes with new head bolts this would be a good time to change the vcc hope this helps for now
