Hopefully your experience will be the same as mine - it seems that paint technology has improved alot in the body shops over the past 10-15 years, at least with the more reputable shops. They seem to do a far better job matching paint, especially with metallics. I had my Orient Blue 525i in the shop last year and it came out looking great. Even the bumpers which were resprayed looked like new. Good luck with the repairs!
