Hi there,
Today I went to some wheels alignment shop to have my 2009 X5 rear negative camber fixed.
As most of you know, the negative camber is intentional on most German cars to help maneuvering at hard turns with high speed, but it causes the inner tip of tires to wear quickly.
Well, I'm not racing in my X5!
It was really an easy $40 job and all they had to do is to unscrew a nut (seen from other side) and rotate the red-circled eccentric bolt half a turn! see photo.

The camber is now better but it's not 100% vertical.
However, they said they can make it 100% vertical by drilling some upper link to make its inboard hole looks more like an "egg-shaped" instead of just round, so as to allow more camber tilt of wheels.
I'm not sure if I'll do this drilling in future.
You guys have a nice day!
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
A toe alignment would be needed to compensate for rotating above bolt!
