Most uHauls have surge. If you need a controller, I highly recommend the Tekonsha Wireless unit. I have that and it's pretty slick. No wiring into the vehicle. Mount the unit on the trailer, pair it up, plug in trailer to unit and unit to car, set your bias and go.
