Looks like we're all on the same page now. Thanks for posting back with pics and more info. At least we now know that the same foot well light assembly fits both pre facelift & facelift.
There's a thread over on Xoutpost where some that didn't have the lights installed from the factory...found the wiring harness tucked up below the rear seat. And all it takes is cutting out the hole, buying the light assemblies, and hooking them up to get rear footwell lights.
. I can't remember if it was an option level or model year that indicates if the wiring harness is there. Guess it's old age...can't remember as well as I used to.
