I get what you are trying to say. To me, it has never been about the money per se. The purchase of the BMW was not intended to be a sensible one in any way or fashion. The diesel X is the only car that I've had so far that has put a smile on my face every single time I drove it. I like to baby my cars and subconsciously listen to every single sound coming out of the engine truly keeping tabs on the car and performing required fixes before it becomes a bigger repair. But I think with the baby on the way I figured that my attention and energy was better spent elsewhere. The car is the last thing that I want to be thinking about when the baby comes. I love the Loaded Sonata for that. Its a perfect baby mobile with all the creature comforts that were once the exclusive domain of luxury cars and being a new car I don't have to worry about any maintenance/warranty visits and focus my full attention on my kid as I should be doing.
