Update -

Well damn. I started the car this morning. BMW says the temp in the garage was 42 degrees. Upon start it's running a bit rough like a diesel with the SES light flashing for maybe 10-20 seconds. It wasn't enough to trip the light on permanently

Other than that the car runs just fine. 113k miles. CCV's, VCG, and spark plugs have maybe 4000 miles on them. The coils are original as far as I know.

No smoking EVER even with an extended idle-time. The car is not my daily driver so it gets out on weekends mostly. I clocked nearly 2500 miles in the last 12 months.

Maybe another bottle of fuel injection cleaner is in order? Dunno.....
