put the mercedes tail light harness on my left tail light during my lunch break. used the instructions here:

aside from losing the white connector retainer down into the bowels of my hatch area somewhere, it only took 5 minutes and works just fine. my dash light would come on each time I'd drive the car until I held the brake pedal for about 5 seconds and it would go off. got tiring to watch/do.

Now I'm just curious if I can find that white retainer on another bmw at the u-pull since the crushed the only x5 last month.
