IMO, just bore it. Many more X5 buyers than X5M buyers...and they are likely cheaper aftermarkets anyway..

Keep in mind that every single BMW wheel has been bored. Every one of them.... They just stop at different bore sizes based on which car it is for...and the bore is likely the absolute lowest stress area of a wheel in a finite element model...
