The 4.8is pipe diametre is larger ,so the workshop would need to cut amd weld a 2.5" pipe to the falange ,for a perfect uncrooked fit!
Look under the car ,where the exhaust joins and check!Take it back to worshop and get them to do a proper job.
Check your exhaust hangers but honestly it looks like they were welded on poorly and the alignment not checked enough with tack welding prior to doing a full weld.

It has nothing to do with them being different mufflers than factory. I used full axle back sections, and did not have to touch or modify any mountings or hangers.

I would probably find a more competent shop who can weld them straight, unless your hangers are absolutely ratted to shit.

EDIT: You have almost double the miles I do, so maybe your hangers are too worn and droopy. You def don't need to pay the shop to fabricate new hangers.
