I have the Icons on the front wipers and a Rain-X Frameless on the rear wiper. I put all three on when I first bought my E53. Was going on a road trip the day after I bought it. Would have put Icons all the way around but the auto parts store I went to didn't stock an Icon for the rear. That was in March of 2014 and I haven't had to change any of them. Every time I wash the X I wipe the blades of all the wipers to keep them clean and they have remained chatter and streak free. Survived the end of winter in New York and now going on there second winter in Georgia.

I have not tried PIAAs product so I can not comment on them. Tried the Rain-X frameless design on a 2500 Ram and they didn't last as long as the Icons. I suspect they have lasted so long on my E53 because the rear doesn't get used nearly as often.

Whats the price on the PIAA wipers? I know that they make quality product when it comes to automotive lighting, but I've never used their wipers
