Huh, You think its a bad O2 sensor?
Which code is it? Sensor code or sensor HEATER circuit?
If you've damaged the wire to the sensor- cut it, crashed into a hard snow bank, hit something...or blown the fuse, the car will immediately see an open circuit on the O2 sensor preheat. It will then never attempt to use the O2 sensor itself.
It *CAN* also be in internal fault in the O2 sensor, wher ethe preheat side of it failed...not saying that is not possible.
If you clear the code it comes back immediately on start up, right? A bad o2 sensor will usually take some time to show up as out of range, but the open heater circuit is immediate.
Id check the connections to the sensor, AND the fuse. Could also ohm out the sensor. Once you rule out wiring/fuse, go order the sensor
