I would put a fuel pump replacement on the short list.

But having more data like EOBD Freeze Frame information would be helpful.

Cylinder 1 and 3 are not in sequential firing order, so would doubt you have a head gasket problem, but you would have other symptoms as well if the head gasket was a problem.

I would also say clogged/restricted catalytic converters could be a problem, but you stated they were removed. Do you know this 100% for sure? It is possible that you think the converters have been removed. Spark plug inspection would have given a good idea as to what was going on.

Seem like you should get your own OBDII tool and gather data rather than rely on the shops.

Less than $30-$40 USD you should be able to get OBDFusion and an interface for your smart phone/tablet.
