I am into the details such as yourself and on my X two of my B & C pillar moldings have scratches on them that I must replace since I am having the entire vehicle repainted. It will just not look right if I do not fix these moldings and the kicker is I have to dismantle both doors to access and change them. But its got to be done right. Someone suggested having them wrapped rather than replaced and I just cringed listening to the suggestion. I am getting the headliner redone next month and ultra-suede is going back in vs the cloth fabric it came with. Its got to look proper.
