Really considering the Remus for my 2005 X5 4.8is. I really like the look of the quad tips and new is only $1183. That Eisenmann deal sounds good but would have to take off the flat oval tips and put on new quad pipes. How hard is that?

My shop here could handle anything but they recently got a Remus account and are "pushing" those and have three they did on BMWs recently. They all sound great and LOOK very nice, just not sure they do what and Eisenmann does on quality of materials and sound. Opinions?
I'll say this the Eisenmann is a higher quality in build (they are hand built and fully polished stainless steel) but the quality of the Remus is good for the dollars they are asking. In addition the Remus typically sound deeper/ with more bass in tonal quality over the Eisenmann. I was going to go the route of the Remus but I got a $935 deal on a New Eisenmann Race which I could not pass up since they are $2400 new. If I were doing it all over again the Eisenmann is $2300-$2400 I would try the Remus for half the price. I've had a remus on my 1995 540i sport going on 6 years now and no problems. I still get compliments on the sound quality of the exhaust at times when I am filling up at the gas station. The Remus tonal sound is different than the Eisenmann but still intoxicating like the Eisenmann.
