Yes...and this only applies to the HIGH instrument cluster with the 20 digit alpha/numeric Check Control Display...once the MID or Navscreen is removed...you can no longer reprogram the OBC features to appear in the instrument cluster's display. And you also don't have anyway to set/reset/start/stop/adjust any of the OBC features...and once power is lost...the things programmed into the cluster will be gone...including the CLOCK if you have that programmed to appear in the cluster's display.

This is how you program the OBC features to appear in the instrument cluster if you have the MID...if you have NAV, it's similar except you make the selections from the Nav screen, then select MEMORIZE to save your choices:


Press & hold the BC button on the turn stalk until you see PROG appear:



{then make selections on Nav screen}
