Well, here's the thing...

That 36 in the rear is based on you driving around fully loaded. Do you?

I run 34/34 with 95% of the time there is one 110lb driver in the car. The fronts like the extra pressure to reduce edge wear.

In general tire pressure really doesnt matter once you get above the minimum. People should finetune it for how they drive, their alignment, and how they load their vehicle.

And I know that just getting a number from BMW is much more comforting.
