You can get an AEM high flow pump from Amazon. I heard good feedback about it. Put one on supercharged e39 540i and it performs well. If you feel comfortable to solder new plug, then it is probably cost effective alternative to OEM. Check out description on Amazon. The pictures shows pump and dimensions of the replacement pump. Looks like an easy swap. Just an idea.
