I've been chasing an issue on my wife's E70 35d. Build 3/09

Background: had a mechanical failure of the EMF module. Replaced unit and worked fine for a short period of time. Then began to have an intermittent warning of parking brake failure. Was easily corrected by disconnecting the EMF and reconnecting. Would then work for a result days. After 3 or 4 of these sessions, quit working altogether.

Figured it was a connection problem. Re-pinned the connector at the EMF. No change.

Checked all 3 fuses- all are good.

Cleared all codes with INPA

Ran DIS, can not read EMF - just get a communication error. Same with either module.

I'm stuck. Thoughts?
