A year ago I had to get a new key, as I had lost one (and then found it 20 mins after I got the new one, natch)...
NEway, got it from a BMW Dlr: they got it in and programmed it in 10 mins to my orig settings. The programming was part of the ~$280 price, IIRC.
I realize NYC pricing after living/woikin' there for 3 decades, but I would beef about the un programmed new key.
