The connector at the strut side always crumbles when you are trying to pull it out. Just make sure the whole connector is not crumbled, you can pull it carefully and slowly by holding the wire, it is very strong and not easy to break. I encountered the same issue when replace the pad sensors and the ABS sensors. Don't worry, you can do it.
