what are you using to seal the headlight back up? Are you using any kind of resistors / fuses?
I remember in my E46 they had a great wiring harness that tapped into the ECU and foot well light. Came equipped with fuses to protect the vehicle, looked very professional. I've heard stories when these halos first came out that they can short and cause fires..
