Just Finished installing a set of the BSW MB Quart speakers and front JL Audio tweeters Evolution C5-075ct. I popped out the old tweeters from the OE mounts and installed the new JLs and custom secured them. I have to admit I am very impressed with the sound quality improvement by going this route. There is a new degree of clarity and even more depth from the MB quart woofers. I picked up the BSW/MB Quart speakers from another board member that parted his X5 out. While I have the door panels off I installed 2 new vapor barrier seals and epoxied some of the door panel clip mounts. I had terrible debris in the front passenger door where I found a piece of the old regulator that the previous owner left in there. Had a rattler on the driver door where a new regulator was installed but failed to put two of the 10mm securing nuts on the regulator. So now she is tight and rattle free.
