BMW Scanner 1.4 only runs on a window computer. You can get a window xp machine really cheap these days. I use a Sony laptop as my dedicated diagnostic computer for my X5.

carly is an Android app for BMW. You must buy their bluetooth adapter in order to run the program on your tablet or phone. I believe they have a wifi app for eye-phone users. Since I already have a BMW specific program, I never bother to buy Carly for BMW.
