I would like to get a better cushion/comfort when driving the SAV.

I guess, Downsizing from 20 inch to 19 with 50 profile tyres will be the solution?

Currently, Running 32 psi front and rear with Kumhos.
I have factory sports suspension (no air) and I have tried staggered 20s, staggered 19s, 18s and 17 inch factory wheels all round,

and haven't noticed much improvement in comfort unfortunately;

rebound was better or lighter and quicker to recover from bumps with the lighter 17 inch wheels:
One 17 inch wheel with Michelin tyre, weighs only 26.15 kg (57.5 lbs) ,
18 inch and tire= 28.9 kg (63.58 lbs) ,
19 inch front with Michelin tire - 30.1 KG (66.2lbs),
19 inch rear with Michelin tire - 32 kg (70.4 lbs) ,
(On a 17" wheel BMW used 235/65R17 size on the E53; on 18" 255/55R18; and 19" 255/50R19 and 285/45R19. All have very similar overall diameters and
all wheels are factory e53.)

I run at least 38 psi , as I don't like the sloppy feeling in tight turns with lower pressures, so perhaps the ride might be better with lower tyre pressures.

What I do notice is the snappier acceleration at very low speeds with the lighter wheel/ tire combos;
not sure what the 20s weigh, as I sold them before I could put em on the scale.
