it is NOT covered by warranty. I also assume you do NOT have the extended service plan for oil changes, brakes, etc- this WOULD be coverd under that, but assume you would have mentioned it.
As you can see, it isnt a critical task. Yes, if you had an ABS pump/modulator failure, BMW could say 'you didnt maintain it properly'. But this is exceedingly rare. Get it done in a month or two, no need to use BMW.
