Okay so if you have over 100K on your X5 you would be surprised what a difference a new set of engine mounts makes on the X5. I had a few vibration transmission coming into the cabin of the X5 . I had changed the trans mounts last year and today with my brother tackled the engine mounts. I did have the beauty of a lift to do the exchange and glad I did. I did lower the subframe (6 bolts) used one stand to elevate the engine to remove and install the new engine mounts. Used an additional two stands to guide the subframe back in place. Once finished the engine mounts I went ahead and removed the fuel tank skid-plate and replaced the vehicle fuel filter. Good day for the X
