E53 wiring diagram location...

Good day all!!

As some of you may know, I'm finishing up the rebuild on my X5 motor and since that is done, more or less, I need to figure out this ECAS (Electrically Controlled Air Suspension)... I have INPA all ready to go, but I'm waiting on the cable... Being bored and hate that I can't drive the 5, I did some searching...

I found the relay! Yay! Second light green from the front above the sub in the rear panel... It is a grounding relay... I don't have constant power to the other wire and the fuse panel says the Air Suspension uses 79 (7.5a) and 87 (30a)... Both of those locations only have one prong...

Here is the confusing part... The relay is connected to ground (brown wire)... 12v is at pin 87 at the relay... When energized, that 12v goes to pin 30 then to ground... Now, those that understand this stuff, the 12V being grounded by the relay needs to pass through the motor, motors positive side wire, connector (that is connected), and fuse block first for the circuit to work...

It is almost like this is working backwards or in circles... Or whatever... I would love to get my hands on the complete wiring schematics for the vehicle... It may shed some light (12V) on what I'm doing...

Oh, I did search... For the past eight days... I must not be using the correct search terms...

Thanks!!!

Cheers all!!
