Indeed upallnight, I agree with you totally. X's are not cheap to run and if you need to ask yourself what will it cost to own, then you might want to consider something cheaper. I love getting my hands dirty. I have had my x5 for 5 years and its better than when I bought it thanks to this site. I have done lots of little mods to the car that make sure it stands out on its own and is subtle for my tastes. I like it when people look at my car and say, 'Oh that's not standard on mine!' (Yeah, coz I took the time, research and effort to mod it and make it look like a retro fit) If I can save a few quid thanks to the help of this site and advice of others... then why not? I will add that to my window tinting fund
