Good day. I own a 2005 bmw e53 30d with 247890 km of which I emptied the catalytic converter by cutting it open and removed the inner part and replaced the two rear mufflers with straight through boxes. My cat had no sensors close by. The diesel is quiet though.
There was a drastic change in power and the car did not feel heavy any more. exceloration improved drastic. My beemer feels alive again.
