Refresh all the parts to be able to set your camber to minimum possible, but within spec. Set the toe as close to zero as possible. I run the 20" rims on my 4.4 and the wear is perfect. If your shop will only align to BMW spec, find another shop. You want zero or just a hair of toe in.
