So you are only changing some of the hoses to stainless braided?
I'd suggest changing them in complete sets. The rubber hoses have more flex and only changing half the hoses would seem to open up a problem.
We have 3 cars with the stainless upgrade from Blunttech and the pedal feel does improve quite a bit. These are e30 and e34.
