if the EWS is the problem ( i have the same problem) and the usual key wont start, if I use the valet key (which I assume is non-electronic) and it starts is that a good indication that the EWS is the problem? no thread hijack intended, i'm just trying to figure out a way to test the EWS is functioning correctly.
