Yep,

That is the right approach. Tighten and test everything that could knock before replacing anything. As you were not there when the work was done so assume something was left undone or something is now loose from a "torqued spec" setting.

Double check the front strut bushings as many are installed incorrectly allowing premature wear rates and failures...like 5K!
