Hi,
Does anyone know of horn problems with the X5 4.4 (2002).
Yesterday on my way home, the horn engaged first a single time and then, maybe ten or twenty minutes later it went beserk. Nothing could really stop it (except top turn off the car- but when I restarted, the horn went back to blow it's hart out).
After approx. driving for twenty minutes it finally died out on me. Now I have NO horns (!?).
This is the second time this happens to. The first time, approx. two years ago, the dealership fixed it (?).
I will bring it back to the dealership on Monday, but I would like to know, if this happened only to me or did anybody else experienced this agravating circumstance.
It does not seem related to the alarm, since no other indicator is involved (flashlighst, door locks, etc.).
