I would recommend getting a Bentley manual if you are planning on DIYing going forward.

Good to see someone else on here involved in aerospace. I've been involved on the manufacturing engineering level (specializing in root cause/corrective action) for around 30yrs. Boeing (747 & 787), Lockheed (F16, F22 & F35), N Grumman (E2-C & F15), EDO (towed array sonar (marine), MK-105 minesweeper (marine). Retrofitting updated avionics & weapons systems to older aircraft in field (overseas) is also major headaches.

Defining and correcting BMW issues is like therapy to me.
